Authentic Models Cello CD Rack ‘Stradivarius’When properly in place, it looks like a Dali-esque surrealist sculpture punched right through the wall. Seemingly a cello body cut in half, it serves to hold a collection of 52 beloved classic CDs. Imagine showing three or four of these hanging in line. A complete string section hanging right on the wall of your living room... The classic violin and cello form as we know it was created in Italy before 1700. Possibly the most famous of all luthiers was Stradivarius, who lived in Cremona, Italy from 1644-1737. Surviving instruments from this master builder go by their own proper names, and their history is fully documented. No need to say that a Strad is revered by its owner. The classic Stradivarius cello and bass was AM's inspiration. AM has created a fanciful, whimsical mini collection of home accessories for lovers of the quirky, classical, and neo-classical. All these objects have been hand made in a musical instrument factory, specializing in stringed instruments. All are finished in hand applied stains and shellac varnishes.
