Small gold scales, astrolabes, weighty scientific tomes, often displayed on brilliantly colored Persian table runners. Modified, but not completely different, AM's custom steers a course between displaying personal momentos and outright symbols. An hourglass is admonishing crisp and to the point conversation. A table bell refers tongue in cheek to a time when the clerks working in the ante-chambers were called in by ringing a bell. "Mr. Jones, please see this Lady out. Thank you!" And so on. It is really not difficult to find an interesting accessory with an even more rewarding history, which will please the future recipient to no end.
