They were three, five and seven at the time. We were flying from Seattle to Amsterdam and our three year old decided to stay awake until he'd seen London from the air. On arrival we lost our five year old, who decided to go to the bathroom by himself and lost his way. It was awhile before airport security found him checking out a litter of St. Bernards labeled to Cape Town. Prepare a message in a bottle, imagining where it might beach... One new box for every waking hour of travel, it would have made for a fun and rested arrival.
